If you aren’t aware of YesArtworks, here’s a great chance to get to know the program at this Friday’s Art Walk. The event enlists professional fashion designers and seamstresses to assist artists with disabilities in designing and sewing fashions for the show. All the garments and accessories have been created from recycled or repurposed materials.

You can check out the garments at Atelier Stitch, Lalo Boutique, The Merchant Company, and Material Objects. Each host venue will have models wearing the fashions, accompanied by the artist/designer to talk about the clothing. And bonus! The designs will be auctioned the night of the event in support of the artist and YES Art Works.
