Major want - spotted at Wool, Wood & Whiskey
Though I hate to be down on tourists in the summer (or rather, down on their wardrobes), it’s rare that I actually see one I’d like to photograph. We spotted this Maryland native as soon as she arrived in Portland, “still wrinkled” from her travels. Though I didn’t notice any wrinkles, I did notice her semi-sheer top - the pleated bib front allowed just enough coverage to get away with wearing a bra underneath. Add in some loose waves, a chic straw hat and espadrilles (alas, not pictured) and she fits right in.
Not that I’m trying to rush summer’s end, but fall is looking more appealing thanks to L.L.Bean Signature’s new arrivals.
We’re helping to host a very fun benefit for Dress for Success this Thursday, July 28 at the Spa at the Regency.
Here’s why you should go:
1. We’ll be snapping red carpet photos of all attendees.
2. We’re raising money for an amazing Maine organization.
3. Rad performances by Rhythmic Cypher and Port Veritas.
4. Cash bar and martini specials.
5. GIFT BAGS with samples, coupons and more.
Check the official facebook invite here. And call up the spa (871-7054) before Thursday and mention Fore Front Fashion to get in to the event for just $15.
You’re welcome.

Thursday Kitsch: Maine ducks in a row
(Sorry for the radio silence around here. We are still recuperating from the weekend. Lots of shots to come next week. xx!)
Happy National Lobster Day! I’ll be celebrating by eating our state’s national treasure tonight.
