Here’s my last piece of advice for you all if you haven’t already purchased a Mother’s Day gift. Swing by Black Parrot and buy your Mama a pair of Soludos: comfier than her slippers (and far chicer), these will be her go-to’s for summer. And such a sweet alternative to those fit-flops. 

And any excuse to say hello to Fairbanks the dog is a bonus.  

Stores have started hauling out their bevy of brightly colored scarves, perhaps as a reminder that spring isn’t far away.
